Name that TEACHER! You can’t raise their salary, but you can tell the world how they made a difference

My second grade teacher Mrs. Smith at Crane Creek Ele. casted me as “Mary” in Mary Had A Little Lamb. I had low self – esteem. I waited to be casted as a tree, but to my surprise she wanted me! I was the star! All eyes were on me! I still reflect on this when I feel like I’m not “enough”. She saw something in me. Mrs. Smith if you ever read this, thank you for believing in me, and I’m still acting. (Smile)

Thank you for visiting. Tell us your TEACHER story.

Pass the fertilizer. ..tell everyone about us. (BEVERLY)

Gratitude- Lesson One: Self-Love

“We have to love ourself, before we can love others.” We hear this all the time, so why are we still having problems with this one?

We…not all…but a lot of us think we love ourself. We hide behind fashion, cars, jobs, education to showcase our personal happiness. Take these things away and what to do you have? You have a little frightened puppy, looking for his mama.

True Self-Love is amazing. When you have it, people don’t get to you the way they did when you didn’t have that self-love. Self-Love is acceptance in one’s self. A pure love that can only come from within. A love we probably need to devote a lot of time trying to find. It doesn’t come over night. For me it was, ” I am tired of being sick and tired.” I knew something in my current existence had to change. I was ready.

Tell me your thoughts about Self-Love. Do you think it’s possible to love without it?

And as always, thank you for visiting. Pass the fertilizer…
